Dear Cabin,

I’ve never known a time without you. Your tall vaulted ceilings and your beautiful wood paneling. Over the years I have spent time there with friends, family, co-workers, and so many more! I’m going to miss your warm and welcoming porch, your beautiful view, and all of the memories I made with you over the past years. I learned about love, friendship, and family while with you. I spent countless hours bailing hay, feeding the horses, and playing in your little creek. In your field, we snowmobiled in the winter and galloped on horses in the summer. I played frisbee with my high school friends and woke up to the sun with my siblings. I learned about work ethic from Gramps and how to clean from Granie. I swung on you swing inside and outside, played with my cousins and aunts and uncles. I flew kites in your yard and picked the wildflowers you gave us. You gave me adventures that I will never forget and as I grew older I was able to share my time with you with Trent and the kids and I can’t explain how much that meant to me!

So, thank you! Thank you for being my getaway. Thank you for bringing me happiness. Thank you for sharing your space with me, my family, and friends. I will never forget you and the memories I made there with you.
