As the song began, he kissed her. Like he had so many times that day. Holding his beautiful wife in his arms, spinning her around, like they were the only people in the room. Looking around the room, all eyes were on Cecilia and Stephen, the new Mr. and Mrs. Pistorius. Friends, Family, kids, and adults, everyone was watching their first dance.

All day long (and the day before) he couldn’t stay away from her, kissing her like he had never kissed her before. He kept saying “I can’t help it! Look at her!” and then he would kiss her again. From the first time I met Stephen, I could see the love he had for Cecilia. Sitting in the car at their VERY rainy engagements we debated rescheduling and he told her that whatever she wanted to do was fine with him…what I heard is “I know this is important to you. And, if it is important to you it is important to me!”

When I saw Stephen for the first time on his wedding day you could tell he was anxious to see his beautiful wife! He talked a million miles a minute and kept asking if she was ready yet. “We’re married now, why can’t I go help her get in her dress?” haha. He was so ready to start this beautiful marriage with Cecilia. When she walked out the door, he lost his word. “Wow” was the only thing he said as he took her into his arms. They exited the temple to the cheers and love of their closest family and friends. The day was sunny and warm as he dipped her lower than I have ever seen anyone dip anyone else and kissed her hard! The most important people in the world embraced and congratulated them on their marriage that has just started!

Cecelia and Stephen, Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day! From the moment I met both of you, I knew that I was meant to be your photographer. You are both so kind and loving toward one another and to those around you! I can not express how much it meant to me that you wanted me to share in your wedding day with you. I may or may not have cried a little bit as I was looking through your beautiful photos. I’m so excited for you both and love you lots!
