A Beautiful Navy Blue and Grey Winter Wedding

Ruth and Ethan | Orem, Utah

When Ruth’s mother emailed me telling me about a mix up with their photographer for her daughter’s wedding I was happy to help!! I worked with Ruth and Ethan as quickly as I could so I could help their wedding day go off as smoothly as possible!

When I arrived at the hotel and met Ruth for the first time I knew we were going to get along! She was so happy and ready to be married to the love of her life! As Ruth started showing me all of the details she had gathered for their wedding, I was blown away! She had hand-bound all of the bouquets and boutonnieres for herself, Ethan, and their bridal party! And if that wasn’t enough she made the lace shrug and the velvet coat she was wearing! They had custom cake toppers made for their wedding cake and grooms cake and the tartan ribbon she used for her sash and bouquets is the tartan of her Scottish ancestors! I LOVE it when my brides put so much into the little details of their weddings!! It makes my photographer heart happy!

As we arrived at the park for their first look you could tell Ruth was getting excited and when I met up with Ethan he was so excited and couldn’t wait to see his bride!! As he turned around he had the biggest smile on his face!

And that smile stuck around all day long!

Their wedding reception was decorated with a Narnia theme! There were trees everywhere with snow on them, a lamp post with a red scarf, a sled, and so much more!!
