Meg & Jake
I met with Meg and Jake before their wedding and I knew we would have so much fun at their Fall Wedding! I was so excited to hear that they were going to be sealed together in the Oquirrh Mountain temple because I had just spent the day there with Cecilia and Stephen (fun side note, Meg and Cecilia know each other!) We talked about the importance of photography in their beautiful day and I found out that they were going to get married in Arizona with Jake’s family and then coming to Utah to get sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain temple a week later. They wanted to include those members of their families who were not able to join them in the temple in their marriage in Arizona. One week later, I met them at the temple after their sealing to document their sealing day with their family and friends. As they emerged from the temple to the whoops and cheers from their family and friends they both broke into huge smiles! Meg looked so amazing in her mother’s wedding dress that was made by her mother and grandmother! This dress has now been through 4 weddings, 2 of her mom’s weddings and 2 of her own weddings!
Later that night, they threw a wonderful party to celebrate at Le Jardin in Sandy, Utah! Le Jardin is a beautiful, greenhouse-style wedding venue with beautiful, open garden spaces in front of their greenhouses. The garden space is lit in small lights lighting it up in the night beautifully! I spent the night photographing Meg and Jake along with their families having a wonderful time!
Meg and Jake, I am so thankful that you chose me to photograph your beautiful fall wedding! You both are the reason I love doing what I do! You kept me on my toes and you kept me laughing the whole day! I hope that you love these images as much as I do! Love, Jesi

[…] This beautiful image of Meg’s engagement ring sits in the Top 30% of all wedding detail images that were submitted and it took some setting to get it to sit the way it is. The wind was blowing and the sun was shining. Imagine me sitting on the ground trying to get the wind to stop for just one second so I could get her ring set and get the shot! It took a few tries to get it just right but it came out perfectly! As I’m working on this blog post, I realize I never blogged Meg’s Bridal Session!! That MUST and WILL be rectified! But in the meantime, you can look at their beautiful wedding! […]
