Whew! I have had a whirlwind maternity leave filled with so many beautiful things to photograph! From products to two styled shoots (see highlights from the other shoot here) with some amazing photographers!! I spent the morning of December 2nd with some great photographers at a Dusty Blue and Cranberry Styled shoot gazing at a beautiful cake (that tasted SO GOOD!!), a sweet couple, a bouquet full of wonderful smelling flowers, a table set up with a garland that blew my mind, and a bowl full of the most beautiful colorful berries!!
I have been following Wild Wood Studio (347 W. Pierpont Avenue) on Facebook and Instagram and when I found out the styled shoot would be located here I was so excited to go! It is a beautiful little studio nestled in Salt Lake City and, I swear, it was created with Photographers in mind! The walls, ceiling, and curtains are all white! Can you say bright, pure light?!? It bounced the most amazing light all through the studio and over every piece of this beautiful shoot!
The Table and Styling
Meghan, the genius behind this Dusty Blue and Cranberry shoot, put together the most beautiful table setting! Loads of dusty blue hues, a HUGE greenery garland with cranberries, with white candles, white china, and a white tablecloth. The small bowl filled with bright red and dark blackberries pulled all of these elements together to create a table setting perfect for a winter holiday wedding!
Oh my gosh you guys! This cake!!! I can’t even describe how AMAZING this cake was to photograph and to eat! Kacie from Ivory Layer Cakes created this caramel covered spice cake! The caramel on the top dripped beautifully over the sides and smelled SO GOOD!! The Mr & Mrs Cake topper pulled this beautiful design together and is made out of beautiful cherry wood!
Jessica from J. Noelle Designs is the creator of this AMAZING wedding dress! Every time I walk into a shoot and I see one of her dresses I am blown away! The beauty of Jessica’s dresses is that they are two pieces, you can create so many different combinations with the beautiful tops and bottoms she has created! This lace top and blue tulle bottom create the most beautiful and unique wedding gown I’ve ever seen. The 3/4 sleeve is perfect for the winter season and the large lace makes a beautiful statement. That statement is “I’m amazing!!”
The beautiful paper products pulled the whole theme together! A beautiful dusty blue invitation was able to be perfectly paired with cranberries, greenery, diamonds and these blue leather shoes!
The bouquet was full of beautiful flowers and wrapped in a light blue, silk ribbon! I couldn’t get enough of it! Any time our bride Mallory wasn’t using it I was photographing it!
I had such a great time with all of these amazing people and I’m so thankful for the friendships I am creating with the other photographers around my state!
