I always get a little giddy when I receive inquiries for weddings at the Salt Lake Temple! So, when Kyndra messaged me to see if I was available for her wedding and said they were getting married at the Salt Lake Temple I was so excited!!! We met to discuss details as early as we could because her wedding was in ONE WEEK!!

As we sat in Swig drinking and eating sugar cookies (THE BEST SUGAR COOKIES!) I knew we would get along! We clicked on so many different levels and the moment she told me that she and her fiance were having a small backyard wedding I was hooked!

I love backyard weddings!

With backyard weddings, everything is so relaxed and simple! Then she told me her fiance loved the Phantom of the Opera and so that was the theme for their reception! The moment I heard that, I knew that I wanted to shoot their wedding!!

Saturday was a beautifully sunny day and the temple shown brightly! Throughout the day I got to know Kyndra and Zachary and knew that I had made some new friends! We got to spend some time together at the temple alone and Zachary told me he serviced his mission at the LDS Conference Center and he wanted to take pictures at the LDS Conference Center rooftop garden! I had never been to the rooftop garden so I was so excited to go up there. While we were in the elevator he told me things he would tell people when he would take them on the tours.

When I arrived in Provo for their reception, I got to meet more of their families and see their amazing DIY set up for the ring ceremony and reception! There were candles EVERYWHERE and the bridal party had masquerade masks to wear down the aisle! I hope you enjoy the images from their wedding day as much as I enjoyed being there!
