Meg and Jake
I don’t know what to say…the rain is killing me! Every time I have an engagement session scheduled, the heavens open up and DUMP all its contents right around me! If you remember the thunder and lightning from Cecelia and Stephens Engagement Session you’ll understand what I’m talking about! This time it was a couple of hours away from Meg and Jake’s Oquirrh Lake Engagement Session and the thunder started…and then the water started pouring from the sky! I kid you not there was a river running off of my roof because the rain gutters couldn’t keep up!
I was checking the weather every few minutes, like that was going to change the forecast haha. I called Trent to complain about the weather, then I realized, in Utah if you don’t like the weather just wait a few minutes. So I waited a few minutes (more like 45 ish minutes) then the rain started letting up a bit! HALLELUJAH! I let Meg know that we are still on, it might be cold but we were still on! When we met on Soda Row, the sun was lighting up the clouds beautifully! I thanked the Lord that we wouldn’t be rained on and we agreed that a little bit of cloud cover was better than a downpour!
Meg and Jake, I had so much fun with you two and I can definitely tell that you’re a unique couple! You’re both so loving and funny! You trusted me so much and I so appreciate that! I can’t wait for your wedding in October at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple!! I hope you love these images from your Oquirrh Lake Engagement Session as much as I do!
